5I needed to organize a mover on the other side to move my shipment once it arrived and the movers needed an approximate arrival time. I was constantly asking for an arrival date of my shipment which B2B responded that they did not know this information. How they could not provide this information was surprising to me. I was waiting the whole month of August and only to find out on August 28th that my shipment had arrived. The shipping yard allows 7 days but after that, there is a charge of 70 Euros per day. When I called the shipping company, I was advised that I only had three days until I had to start paying the fee. I also found out that B2B failed to notify me as soon as my shipment arrived in Europe. They were late one week to notify me. Further, they failed to inform me that there was paperwork to be done once my shipment arrived in Europe which further resulted in me paying extra for the time it took to complete the paperwork. I was waiting the whole month doing nothing when I could have used that time to start the procedure but B2B did not inform me about it. Each day my shipment sits on their dock, I was paying 70 Euros per day and so by the time my shipment was finally released, I had to pay an additional $6000.00 CAN. The total cost was $14,500 by the time it was all said and done. I was expecting to pay some fees but not more than $1,000.00 approx max. For the price I paid, I could have saved myself a lot of work and grief and paid another company the same price, and get door to door service.
If it weren't for the kind people I met in Europe and some of their connections in aiding me to get all the paperwork, I would have been made to pay a lot more. This is complete incompetence and a disgrace.
I am sorry to have used this company.Read more
